Beside planning a trip to Europe this year (I really hope it will go through), I wanted to go a long weekend to New York. It’s been 9 years since I’ve been there and it’s always a great idea to visit NYC, right?! But the down part is that most of the good places to stay can be a bit pricey, so I decide it to check out Airbnb. A friend give me the heads up to check them out for when we are going to Europe. On this site you will find hundreds of rooms or homes from people all over the world, who could like to rent their homes with you. But I’m always intrigued to see how and where the people behind a company works. Lets check the headquarters office that is located at San Francisco.
This place is huge so I picked out the spaces that really attracted me. Can you imagine going to work in a space that gives you a home feeling? Going from home to home? It’s indeed a cleaver idea, as we spent 8 hours or more at the office. And when you’re sitting in a dull office, believe me, it sucks the life out of you.
Working daily more that 8 hours will get to your creativity also. So they designed the space with loads of space that will trigger you creativity. Even is it just a stroll down the hall.
It must be hard work holding down such a great website with millions of people on it to rent their homes and you would have to have a great staff to make everybody happy. So to let the customers feel happy, your staff must be happy and in a mood as well. I say, well done to this Gensler designers.
